Project Love Run Presents: A PLR Summer Field Trip

  • Alice Lake Highway 99 Squamish, BC Canada (map)

A PLR Summer Field Trip . . .

Organized by Project Love Run community, on July 5th.

READ OUR CODE OF CONDUCT BEFORE YOU SHOW UP SIS !

Join us in a heartfelt gathering to mark the closing of our 2025 10-week Trail Clinic—and the conscious sunsetting of our beloved community in its current form. This is not just an end, but an intentional pause: a space to reflect, grieve, and celebrate the journey we've taken together.

Project Love Run (PLR) has always been a mirror of my own life path. As I prepare to enter a new chapter in my life, I’ve come to understand that some things must be let go of in order to make room for the newness to come. In the same way we transition through seasons, this ending carries seeds for what may emerge next. Though PLR's next form is still unclear, the love, movement, and connection we've built will carry forward.

With this event, I also want us to acknowledge that we gather in a time of global polycrisis, where so many structures around us are also dissolving, and we are being asked to honour both the grief of what’s passing and the possibility within the unknown.

Come as you are—whether to mourn, celebrate, remember, or simply witness this tender turning point.

*Disclaimer/Note: We like to use quotation marks when talking about running, as we want to acknowledge that these concepts have traditionally felt intimidating and inaccessible to many folks. When we talk about "running", what we mean is honouring the many different ways our community wishes to show up; including making room to go slow, and to stop at any point.

Please Note: This event will be photographed/recorded for distribution across our social media platforms. By purchasing tickets to this event, you are agreeing to the possibility of appearing on these. This event will be supported by Salomon and Smartwool.

As always, tag @projectloverun in your experience.
